ORENDA FINK OFFERS FREE ALBUM TO HELP HAITI

Saddle Creek recording artist Orenda Fink has made her album Invisible Ones available for download on her website now through the end of January in an effort to encourage relief effort donations for the current crisis in Haiti. In a very personal letter posted to her site that recounts her time in Haiti spent making music, art, and – most importantly – friends, Orenda asks that people make a donation to a relief effort organization in return for downloading the album. Invisible Ones, her solo debut, was inspired by and mainly written during her travels there in 2003.

Video production or ‘videography’ is the process of capturing moving images and then manipulating them. It can be used to describe the work of those who make music videos, those who make advertisements and those who create footage for broadcast on television and the internet. HOLLY GENTRY HAS ‘SO MUCH MORE’ TO OFFER

Holly Gentry is a southern Georgia native who gained a vocal scholarship to Wake Forest, but suppressed her musical tendencies as she proceeded to study and practice law. Eventually, however, she indulged her musical side, convinced that she had “so much more” to offer. Resulting from this existential choice is her full-length indie debut album, So Much More. Was there a final straw event that made you forsake the lawyerly vocation ? Actually, I’m still a practicing attorney, so I haven’t forsaken it completely. KRIS WARREN IS “BLOWING UP”
